Pioneering Dairy Management Training Scheme Launched
Kite Consulting and Marden Management have launched an innovative Dairy Manager Scheme.
The scheme, which provides young people in the industry with a unique two year management training programme, is designed to produce well trained and experienced dairy herd managers capable of managing 500+ cow herds within 5 years. Practical hands-on experience through four six-month secondments is combined with high quality training both on and off the farm. Trainees will commence the scheme at the beginning of July 2009 with interviews having taken place in mid April.
