Kathryn Rowland

Kathryn joined the corporate team at Kite in June 2025 and is based in Somerset. She grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Dorset and graduated in 2002 with a BSc.(Hons) degree in Agriculture and Environment from Seale-Hayne (University of Plymouth). Previously she spent 23 years managing and developing a dairy costings service and analysing key UK market trends. During that time, she specialised in feed efficiency, costs of production and health & welfare KPIs and has spoken at many dairy industry events.

Kathryn is involved with management, analysis and interpretation of large data sets within processor and aligned contract farmer projects to aid data-driven decision making and facilitate change at farm level.
