×Neil has over 30 years of consultancy experience, specialising in the dairy sector across Wales and the Midlands. Neil's areas of expertise include business management, strategic planning, dairy nutrition and technical consultancy. Neil provides advice to farmers, milk processors and the agricultural supply trade. Neil also manages the delivery of a number of larger scale projects within Kite.
×Nicky is a vet by training and worked in predominantly dairy practice in and around Cheshire and North Shropshire. She has also worked within the wider industry specialising in knowledge transfer with some time in the world of pharmaceuticals. Nicky is part of the Corporate Team, working with retailers and processors, particularly in the delivery of knowledge transfer events as she does enjoy a good farm walk! Outside of work her time is usually taken up juggling her families sporting and social activities but does sometimes find time for her garden.
×Mike has worked in the dairy industry for the majority of his career and currently provides high level strategic planning and technical advice to agribusinesses across the South and South West of England.
Mike's areas of expertise include nutrition, herd management and strategic planning issues relating to large scale dairy systems.
×Tanya has worked in East Anglia as a dairy business consultant for almost 20 years. Tanya currently works with a range of agribusiness mainly in East Anglia, but also in Jersey. She manages the East Midlands sub-team and chairs the Nutrition Network.
Her areas of expertise are in nutritional and technical consultancy she also undertakes farm business and financial management for a number of her clients.
×Chloe joined Kite in 2016 following on from employment in both robotic and conventional dairy businesses.
Chloe works with farmers in Eastern counties, providing business and technical support. Her particular interests lie in budgeting, heifer rearing, and farm team management. She works closely with multiple National discussion groups and retailer aligned contracts.
×Tim has more than 30 years experience as a specialist farm animal nutritionist and works across the Midlands, North of England and Wales as well collaborating on nutrition research in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Tim's areas of expertise include specialist dairy nutrition, solving health, fertility and production problems, manipulating milk quality, modelling carbon footprint of livestock, legal work, buying group work and the evaluation of feeds.
×Marcus graduated from Harper Adams in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture with Animal Science after growing up on a mixed arable and dairy farm. He then pursued a career in farm management and brings his extensive practical experience combined with technical knowledge to help farms improve business performance across the South West. Marcus has a particular interest in nutrition for high yielding systems, herd development through targeted use of genetics as well as staff recruitment and management.
×Helen is an experienced agricultural consultant and has worked in Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales for over 30 years.
Helen’s expertise includes management consultancy, business and strategic planning, joint ventures and dairy herd management. She works with a wide range of dairy and livestock farms.
×Chris began his consultancy career in West Wales before moving to the Midlands. He now works over a wide radius across the country with many different dairy and mixed businesses.
Chris' areas of expertise include; business management, business strategy and planning, nutrition, herd health and herd management. His wide-ranging client base includes dairy farming businesses, specialist benchmarking groups, processors and retailers. Promoting sustainability, resilience and future proofing businesses.
×Maimie has spent several years working in Ruminant Nutrition before joining Kite in 2022 as a Technical Consultant. She is based in the South West of England working with a range of dairy businesses and systems along with an ever increasing number of robotic herds. Maimie holds an honours degree in Agriculture with Animal Science and also a Masters degree in Agriculture Professional Practice. Maimie likes to focus on technical efficiencies and improving kgs of fat and protein produced on farm. Her areas of expertise are in nutritional and technical consultancy including genetics.
×Becky has spent several years working in ruminant nutrition before joining Kite in 2024 as a Technical Consultant. She is based in Gloucestershire working in the South of England on a range of dairy businesses focussing on improving efficiencies and overall output. Becky has a honours degree in Animal Science and a Masters degree in Ruminant Nutrition. Becky’s main interests are robots, feed efficiency and improving farm technical performance.
×Kaia joined Kite in 2019 after graduating from The University of Nottingham with a degree in Agricultural Sciences. She spent a year working as an Assistant Manager on a robotic unit before returning to Kite in 2022. Kaia is based in Cheltenham and is a member of the South West team with a particular interest in business management and gaining value from farm data.
×Morag joined Kite April 2025 following many years working within the dairy supply chain for both First Milk and a Scottish dairy processor as Farm Liaison. Based in Stirling, Morag works with farmers across Scotland providing business support. Her particular interests lie in budgeting, business management and gaining value from farm data to better understand the business and to make a real impact on the farm bottom line.
×David has recently left his position as Senior Dairy Consultant with SRUC to join Kite and has extensive experience in providing technical and business consultancy to dairy businesses across Scotland. David also works closely with milk processors, particularly cheese makers, to improve cheese yields and factory efficiencies. David's motto is "from parlour to palate".

Tim joined Kite Consulting as a Senior Consultant with a background in dairy production, farm management and technical consultancy. He has supported a wide range of dairy businesses across the UK, working closely with farm owners, managers and supply-chain partners. His experience includes dairy nutrition, forage systems, benchmarking, business planning and sustainability, including carbon data collection and environmental performance. Tim is recognised for translating research, performance data and supply-chain requirements into practical, achievable outcomes for farm businesses. At Kite, Tim supports dairy clients in improving efficiency, managing risk and responding to evolving market and sustainability demands.
×Paul has worked as a consultant since 1997 and predominantly works across the Midlands and South West of England delivering technical and business management consultancy.
Paul’s areas of expertise include ruminant nutrition, forage management and breeding focusing on efficiency and profitability. His clients include a wide range of dairy farms and farmer groups as well as delivering specialist projects.
×Kate qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2014 and worked as a farm animal vet in Kent and Lancashire. Kate joined Kite in 2019 and is based in Cheshire.
She works as a technical specialist focused on dairy and youngstock nutrition, whole herd health management and sustainability. She utilises her technical and veterinary skillset to work with farm clients to maximise on farm efficiency for production, animal health and sustainability, as well as with various corporate clients and discussion groups. She project manages one of the key corporate projects in the business, which runs a variety of meetings formats across the England, Wales and Scotland. She also have a keen interest in the responsible use of antibiotics on dairy farms, project managing various corporate clients and their antibiotic monitoring and reduction programmes.
×Ewan is a founding partner of Kite Consulting. He has more than 30 year’s consultancy experience and is recognised within the industry through work with the RABDF, British Grassland Institutes and OMSCO.
His specific areas of expertise are farm business management, strategic planning and technical consultancy.
Ewan was co-author of the Kite’s ground-breaking Carbon Footprint tool widely used across the industry from McDonalds to Arla as part of their corporate sustainability activities.
×Torin graduated from Hartpury University in 2023 with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture. During his time at Hartpury, Torin explored and researched foliar-applied fertilisers and their economic and environmental impact within dairy production systems. Torin has an extensive background in livestock production and management through employment on several dairy units in the UK and New Zealand, as well as involvement in the family dairy enterprise. Torin is part of the West Midlands team. His main interests lie in crop and ruminant nutrition, pasture and forage production, farm infrastructure, people management and the technical aspects of dairy production.
×Based in Cumbria, Becca draws on a practical farming background and experience as an NMR Area Service Manager, where she supported herd performance through the effective use of data. She combines her experience with her knowledge of genetics and nutrition to deliver realistic, workable on farm solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability and herd development. Becca's approach focuses on tailoring production improvements to maximise the value of milk contracts while supporting each farms long term goals.
×Beth Graduated from Nottingham University in 2014 with a First class BSc (Hons) degree in Animal science with an Accreditation in Nutrition. She is based in North West Wales on the family dairy farm and joined Kite in 2026 as a Technical Consultant. She has technical nutrition experience working with a range of dairy systems, and has worked in feed and agricultural supply businesses to date, ranging from research and development, knowledge exchange and on-farm nutrition technical services. Beth’s main interests are maximising feed efficiency, forage utilisation, manipulating milk quality and fertility and genetics.
×Mark began working as a consultant in 1996 and has wide knowledge of the agricultural industry. Mark has been instrumental in developing Advance Sourcing, which he manages.
Mark's specialist skills lie in commodity sourcing; group buying; project management; database development and logistics whilst he also works with large dairy and agribusinesses across the UK.
×Becki was awarded a first-class BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Science in 2008. During her early career she worked in technical advisory, project management and relationship manager roles in the agricultural supply trade, for AHDB Dairy and within the beef supply chain for Dovecote Park; a processor fully integrated with Waitrose. Having joined the Kite business in 2019, Becki is now Account Manager and relationship manager for several key corporate accounts and industry stakeholders. She plays a key role in corporate business development and project management both in the UK and internationally and is also responsible for events, marketing and PR across the Kite business, including being the producer of our weekly Kite podcast.
×Evie graduated from Harper Adams University in 2024 with a BSc in Agriculture with Farm Business Management. Evie has worked within the agricultural sustainability sector and has a varied background in livestock production through working on multiple dairy units and systems throughout the UK and New Zealand. Evie is based in Wiltshire and works as a consultant across the Southwest and Midlands. Her main interests surround driving technical efficiency on-farm to mitigate carbon emissions and strategic business planning.
×Kathryn joined the corporate team at Kite in June 2025 and is based in Somerset. She grew up on her family's dairy farm in Dorset and graduated in 2002 with a BSc.(Hons) degree in Agriculture and Environment from Seale-Hayne (University of Plymouth). Previously she spent 23 years managing and developing a dairy costings service and analysing key UK market trends. During that time, she specialised in feed efficiency, costs of production and health & welfare KPIs and has spoken at many dairy industry events.
Kathryn is involved with management, analysis and interpretation of large data sets within processor and aligned contract farmer projects to aid data-driven decision making and facilitate change at farm level.
×Emily grew up on a diversified dairy farm in Suffolk and is now based in East Kent. She graduated from Harper Adams University with a degree in Agriculture with Farm Business Management and completed a placement with a farm business consultancy firm, gaining experience in financial analysis, crop planning, contract farming agreements and bookkeeping. She is passionate about supporting farmers to improve farm business management, with a strong belief in the value of benchmarking. Emily has a strong interest in youngstock and heifer rearing, and a particular passion for people management and team development. Her practical experience spans the UK and several trips to New Zealand working on pasture-based dairy systems, where she gained hands-on experience in calf rearing.
×Emily graduated from Nottingham University in 2018 with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture and Livestock. She is based in the East Midlands and joined Kite in November 2023 as a Dairy Consultant. She has experience in different dairy systems and has previously worked for a large multi-site business across the country, managing compliance as well as working alongside the leadership team to deliver on business management. Emily is a FACTS qualified advisor with an interest in environmental consultancy as well as the business and technical aspects of dairy production.
×Amy graduated from Harper Adams University in 2022 with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture with Animal Science. Amy has worked within the ruminant nutrition industry and has a broad background in livestock production through employment on multiple dairy units throughout the UK and New Zealand alongside involvement in family sheep and suckler enterprises.
Amy is based in Yorkshire and works as a Consultant across the North. Her main interests lie in ruminant nutrition and the technical aspects of dairy production.
×Ben became a consultant in 1996, covering East Anglia, the South East and Lincolnshire. He is responsible for delivering business and technical advice to many of the region's leading mixed farms.
Areas of expertise include the management of dairy herds on a variety of production systems with a focus on profitability, nutrition, herd health and fertility, business strategy, financial management. Ben currently works with farmers, agribusinesses, processors and retailers.
×Steve joined the corporate team at Kite in January 2025 and is based in the Peak District. He graduated in 2003 with a BSc.(Hons) degree in Biology from Lancaster University. His career has included roles as a Molecular Biologist at University of Warwick, a Business Development Manager at NMR and, most recently, a Knowledge Exchange Manager at AHDB. He has managed a number of farmer discussion groups and has organised and chaired many industry events. He will be involved with management of projects related to processor and aligned contract farmer group delivery and account management.
